This holiday season, GEM Studio is launching their first ever annual giving campaign to support more young artists and students. As a small and local business, your support will make a huge impact in our ability to offer quality classes and art supplies for youth in our neighborhood.

While the studio itself has gone through several transformations over the years, many of you may know that our business owner, Stephanie Benetua, has been running the studio for a whopping 8 years! From opening Sketchbook Studio and staying strong through the global pandemic, to reopening as GEM Studio, it’s likely that if you’ve come through our doors, she has had the pleasure of teaching your children. From watching young artists grow from childhood to young adults, she looks forward to starting 2025 off with a bang, offering new classes while continuing to cultivate artistic exploration and skill to local youth in the Mission district.

Now more than ever, it’s important for our youth to have safe spaces where youth of all genders and backgrounds are supported to grow, explore, and make their own magic through the arts. While arts funding and youth enrichment opportunities under the current administration dwindle, GEM Studio will remain dedicated to keeping our doors open to support your child’s magical creativity.
